Planning Board of the City of Orange, NJ

General Description
The Planning Board is charged with addressing permitted uses. They are responsible for the master plan, redevelopment plans and ensuring that applicants are meeting plan requirements; subdivision control; site plan review and the official map.

The Planning Board Secretary office hours are 1st and 2nd Mondays, 9 am to 1 pm and 4th Wednesday, 9 am to 1 pm.

The Planning Board functions under the authority of the Municipal Land Use law of New Jersey authorized to exercise power with regard to:

Meetings are held monthly on the fourth Wednesday night at 7:30 PM in the 3rd Floor City Council Chambers unless otherwise specified. For additional information see Government Boards and Committees on the web site.
